Whoopi Goldberg, who has long been one of the most anti-Donald Trump people in the mainstream media, bizarrely lashed out at the former president once again on Tuesday morning, this time claiming that he will “disappear” journalists and “gay folks” if he is reelected.
Goldberg Sounds Off
“I’m here to say it is ours to lose. It is this country — this is what it’s all about. Either you want it to work forward thinking,” Goldberg said. “You want everybody to have the ability to say how they feel, what they want, to move forward, or you don’t. Or do you want somebody who says, ‘I’m going to be, on day one, I’m going to be a dictator.’”
“Who says it to you, tells you, ‘I’m going to put you people away. I’m going to take all the journalists, I’m going to take all the gay folks, and I’ll move you all around and disappear you,’” she continued. “If that’s the country you want, you know who to vote for. If that’s not the country you want, you have to make a decision.”
This came as the hosts of the ABC talk show “The View” debated how young Democratic voters feel about their own party. Earlier in the segment, the liberal co-host Sunny Hostin claimed that “there is this stark divide among young voters on the Israel-Hamas war,” and that “the voting bloc who really supported Biden in 2020 over climate change says that the war in Gaza is an environmental justice issue, and they’re gonna abandon Biden over it.”
Goldberg responded by strangely blaming “the media” for downplaying Biden’s supposed popularity, which is currently sitting at an extremely low 39%.
“Beware the media,” Goldberg warned. “That voting bloc has lots of issues that they want addressed, they do, and they have every right to demand that from whoever the candidate is gonna be.”
“But I will say this until it’s time to go vote, beware the media telling us what we’re doing. Only you know what you’re doing,” Goldberg added. “You know what’s upsetting you, and you will discuss it when you go and make your vote. Now, there are lots of things that we all wish that the candidates would talk about, whether it’s on the left or on the right. We wish they would talk about what mattered to us.”

Goldberg’s Previous Anti-Trump Rants
Goldberg enjoys ranting against Trump on a daily basis on “The View.” Back in November, she claimed that America will get what it deserves if Trump is re-elected because it will mean “that we were not loud enough.”
“Listen, if he gets re-elected, we deserve what we get,” Goldberg said, according to Daily Mail. “If we put him back in, if he gets back in, we deserve what we got.”
“It meant that we were not loud enough or strong enough or that our Constitution wasn’t strong enough to keep this bozo out,” she added.

Goldberg Wants Amendment To Constitution
In June of last year, Goldberg called for an amendment to be added to the Constitution that would bar Trump from being president in jail.
“What really was started to freak me out is the idea that we’re not even discussing changing the Constitution to make it say you cannot be in jail while being the president,” Goldberg said. “I’m a big fan of amendments. I feel like unless we start to plug these holes, this is going to keep biting us in the behind. It really is going to take people saying, ‘hey, listen, if I can’t vote when I come out of jail, why can you be president.’”
“I think the fact that we have this situation now with you-know-who is there to tell us, ‘hey, y’all have a problem’ and these kinds of things are going to start coming up because these kinds of people, people who are not reading the Constitution, don’t know the law, don’t know how this country runs are now starting to get in,” she continued. “An amendment will change how we deal with people who come up like this.”
Goldberg can rant against Trump all she wants to, but nothing she says will really impact his chances of being reelected, as anyone who would actually listen to her would never vote for him to begin with.
