The Great Replacement Theory is an idea promoted for years by Democrats that so many racial minorities will immigrate to the United States that the traditional white majority will become a minority, and the new non-white majority will overwhelmingly vote Democrat.
Former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson brought it up and was labeled a white nationalist and a conspiracy theorist by the left.

Ramaswamy Says It’s Not a Conspiracy Theory – Democrats Insist It Is
The GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy recently said in a Republican presidential primary debate that the Great Replacement Theory is not a conspiracy theory, stirring controversy.
On Friday, Ramaswamy shared a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, about Boston allowing non-citizens to vote, making a remark about how this is exactly what the Great Replacement Theory is.
“The left openly favors mass migration & changing election laws to allow noncitizens to vote,” Ramaswamy wrote. “But if you dare to say it, you’re a fringe conspiracist embracing the Great Replacement Theory.”
“Funny how that works,” he added.
The story Ramaswamy shared was from Boston News 7:
The Boston City Council approved a measure that would allow individuals with “legal status” the right to vote in city elections, even if they are not American citizens.
The measure passed by an 8 to 5 vote.
According to the petition’s sponsors, immigrants with “legal status” make up more than 28 percent of Boston’s population and pay, on average, $2.3 billion in taxes annually.
At least 15 municipalities in the country have instituted similar home rule measures, including communities in Vermont, California, Maryland, and New York.

Dems Have Ben Saying This For Years
Like Carlson, Ramaswamy has provided multiple examples of Democrats speaking about this theory, despite their denials and supposed outrage.
The New York Post noted in May 2022:
And the larger claim that US demographic change boosts Democrats has been standard among Democrats for years. Left-liberal analysts John Judis and Ruy Teixeira made the case in their influential 2002 book “The Emerging Democratic Majority.”
Civil rights attorney Steve Phillips argued similarly in his 2016 best-seller “Brown Is the New White.”
Sen. Dick Durbin felt comfortable saying just last summer, “The demographics of America are not on the side of the Republican Party.”
Heck, Joe Biden in 2015 stated that, starting in 2017, “fewer than 50% of the people in America . . . will be white European stock” and adding, “that’s a source of our strength.”
However, funny enough, as the Post reported, “The kicker: Of late, black, Asian and especially Hispanic voters have started pulling the GOP lever in droves as Democrats tilt ever-more left on crime, the economy and divisive social issues.”
“Hard to explain that if the GOP is so wedded to stifling the political dreams of minorities,” the story added.
